I can recall spending a lot of my school/summer holidays with my family at Mayaro beach on the Caribbean island, Trinidad.
Happy times created beautiful memories, of swimming in sea, digging for chip chip on the beach, catching crab along the beach at night, fishing, sitting around bonfires under the tropical starry nights and in the early morning pulling seine, where everyone came together to help the fishermen pull in their heavy many yards of fishing net.
